What the course is
The Software Tester training is a 9-week intensive course from Xplorafory Test. The training is developed in close collaboration with the industry and aims to provide a broad competence to be able to work as a tester.
To succeed you need fundamental IT knowledge. For example be able to handle Windows, Office and know how to install and uninstall programs on the computer.
To prepare you for the automation part of the training. You will get a free course at Udemy in programming.
During
While studying
You will learn the fundamental parts of testing. It will give you a huge advantage over others in the market. Because most people lack at least one of these skill categories.
Training starts very theoretically with what testing is and how you think as a tester. To then become more hands on with scripted & exploratory testing followed by bug reporting. This is the basis of becoming a tester.
Then training continues to go through what test automation is and how you can use it as a tool in your testing. The frameworks that are reviewed are JUnit5 and Selenium.
Agile project methodology is also reviewed in the course. Each part ends with a submission task. On which you as the student get feedback to see if you understood what was covered.
You will always have backup from your educator aswell as fellow testers.
